Redone; Orange/Blue

Didn't like the flowers and the background when I saw it posted, so back to the drawing board!
I've added Holbein's Opera to my palette; it's a super bright color that when used sparingly can liven up some duller color. Mixed it with Translucent Orange and also applied a wash for the background.
"Orange/Blue Composition", 3x4 inches, watercolor on board.

Long time no 'see'.
I grabbed your link from another
blog and I see you have a new book!

I love Holbein Paints! Their range of color is breathtaking and although I never used to use 'tube' colors, I've changed my mind about them.
Much of the nuance in my painting is because of them.
