My good friend, Janet Spiegel had given me prints of Fantin-Latour's paintings. One was more green and one more red. It was interesting to have the contrast. I suppose you can see that I'm playing with brushstrokes and trying to be less literal about defining the petals.All paintings are 3x4 inches, oil on board.
