Somehow the question came up about cataloging work. This is how I do it. Since the year is 2008 I list the first one of that year as 0801. If it's a watercolor it's listed as wc0801, if an oil I just list it as 0801. If I ever do another pastel it would be P0801. I also scan everything into computer and use photoshop to list same info. I used to keep a slide sheet with printed images and wrote which gallery they were at and which sold. I think I'm going to do that in photoshop now. There must be other programs/ways to do this. If anyone has a better idea please let me know.

Thank you Joyce, I appreciate you doing this for me. I have used Microsoft Access for years, but then lost the program in a computer crash ... it along with all my information. Now I want to learn how to use the newer version Access and start all over again. This time I will keep a written record also. I've learned my lesson. Your method looks like it would work.
